ipad external keyboard care

I'm looking for a way to protect the keyboard that magnetically attaches to iPad . The skin on the corners is now damaged and there are scratches on the surface, because it is soft. Anyone help?

What causes iPad Pro keyboard covers to detach? Has anyone dealt with this kind of a problem? I have no idea why it happened and I imagine Apple won’t cover it. Does anybody use anything like a heat gun to try to reseal it? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

iPad Pro folio keyboard connection issue - best ways to clean contacts? Try using a pencil rubber to clean the connections on both the iPad and the folio (might fluff up the cover a bit). You could also add a tiny dab of electrical lubricant. Mine also seems to be having a buffering issue (giving a delayed response), even after the clean - so perhaps that is unrelated (I have plenty of free disk space though)

Depending upon your [as yet unspecified] iPad model, you may find a hard case that is designed to protect an iPad and its attached Apple Smart (folio) or Magic Keyboard. One such manufacturer that comes readily to mind is STM:
