does that mean i am getting my original phone back or is there a chance for me to get a replacement?

You won't know whether your original phone was repaired or a replacement was sent until you receive the phone.
For example, I sent in my wife's iPad for repair to Apple and received notice similar to your that repairs had been completed. We received a replacement refurbished iPad.

It means Apple has decided how to remedy your issue and has implemented that remedy.
