Poor Visual Display Quality From 2nd Monitor Connected to Mac mini M1

I have connected my Asus ProArt second monitor with the USB-C cable to my mac mini M1 Thunderbolt input and the overall screen visual is very poor ,also the text is very dark black and quite unclear.

So what are my options? Do I buy a USB-C adapter from the mac mini to the Display port on my monitor which I originally was going to do but a USB-C cable was included with the Asus ProArt monitor.

I have tested the Asus Monitor with Windows 11, a Chromebook OS and the screen visuals are prefect.

So no issues with the monitor, focus back on the Mac mini M1.

My main monitor which is the Samsung LU28R550UQEXXY is prefect and I totally recommend this monitor.

It did take me a small learning curve with the settings control but all good now.

Any suggestions please.

Mac mini, 13.4

Yes 1920 x 1080 is the Default resolution and for picture balance display on the screen this is the best fit.

However text is blackish, not clear and eye friendly which is displayed on the Samsung LU28R55 monitor.

No improvements scaling down through the resolution list. Only 1024 x 576 (HiDPI) showed any improvement in the text clarity however, screen picture so oversized and blown out.

There certainly is no issues with connectivity between the monitors at any time when working on the Mac mini ,a perfect match.

I am contemplating buying a USB-C to HDMI cable as a "throw into the wind" effort ,which has a cost of $39 cheapest buy, but will keep researching to a work around.

Thanks for the help.
