TVs clicking on and off

I’m assuming this is an Apple TV problem since it is happening on every different brand of TV in the house. All of a sudden the TV goes black and it clicks on and off about 10 times in succession finally had to shut it off and start it again. I did do the latest update and hoping that will fix the problem. I wish they would let you know when there are updates instead of having to just search randomly. I have it set to update automatically, but it never does.

Hi puppykitty20,

Resetting your TV would erase the data currently on it. You can use these steps for redownloading apps: Redownload apps and games from Apple - Apple Support

Since the issue occurs on multiple Apple TVs, you may want to first check your TV settings to see if there are any software or firmware updates. If you have an extra cable to connect the Apple TV to your TV, you may want to try that as well.

If that doesn't help, try resetting one of the Apple TV's to isolate further.

Should the issue persist, contact Apple Support so that they can look into this with you further. They can be reached here: Apple Support

Take care.
