Apple TV plus no sound on Fire Stick

i'm a software developer and have troubleshot this issue of no sound when watching shows on apple tv plus via a Firestick. my hardware is new and software up to date. previews and screensavers within the app do emit sound. but when we select a show or rent a movie, the ENGLISH sound is not available. we can select a different language and they all work. so there is no issue with speaker, bluetooth connection, etc. my best guess on whats happening is that Amazon is blocking the main English audio in order to drive move purchases and subscription purchases thru Amazon. i see via review of chats that this issue has existed for years. but i haven't seen any notes about the language issue. Amazon isn't killing the sound entirely, they are blocking only the main English audio stream. choosing another audio stream (korean, spanish, or englsh AD) works most of the time. just not convenient for an English speaker. maybe this helps your team pinpoint the issue. when looking for whats broken, test the different Audio streams. Amazon is restricting English. also, i wondered if it was a bandwidth issue and just too many people trying to access at once. but i also tested on an old show and same issue there. so it doesn't seem to be related to number of streamers. thanks for your help! i buy apple products 99.9% of the time. just got a firestick for an outdoor projector to watch moves on occasionally. and was super disappointed to find i couldn't watch my apple library with sound - or at least in English -- Jill
