Why is my Apple TV app stuck on library and I’m unable to access my movies and shows

The TV app on iPhone or iPad needs internet access, to show anything other than the local library.

• Through Wi-Fi, the TV app should have regular internet access.
• On cellular, the TV app would need extra permission to use cellular data. Settings﹥Cellular﹥[scroll down to apps list] TV app﹥

Possibly the country or region where you are or what is set for your Apple ID account,

doesn’t support more functionality in the TV app than Library media.

My cellular data is turned on for my Apple TV but I’m still stuck at library. What else can be done please?
