Colored stripes on the screen MacBook Pro 13’’

Hello all,

This Monday morning around 10am I did the latest software update on my MacBook Pro 13’’ (2019), everything was fine (and I had zero problem since my buy in august 2019…)

Then Monday afternoon at 5:40pm, my laptop which was on the table, I was working on Word, without any choc or anything, appeared at first plenty fine lines that twitched horizontally for ~30sec, and then, multiples colored stripes appeared on the screen…

I restarted, nothing, the desktop screen was completely useless because of all these stripes, I couldn’t see a thing

So I call Apple assistance, the lady told me to do option + shift + P + R we tried 4 times but after the starting page (where I put the password) the desktop screen was still useless bc of the stripes…

so yesterday Tuesday morning I went to iCare center in Paris, they kept and analyzed the laptop until the evening and they told me that the screen was dead without any explanation… (before the software update everything was fine since 4 years…) anyway, I came back home and opened again my laptop the screen was “slightly better” and there is now only one large green-ish stripe on the middle right corner,

What is the problem according to you ? (Connectors or connection between the screen and the rest, graphic card…)

And is it easily reparable for myself ?

Do you think that the fees of 800€ reparation at iCare is it worth it ? Will it stay in good shape for a long time or in 2-3 months my screen will again be dead ?
