When I toggle on iMessages, it pops up with activation error. When I select “send and receive”, it does not allow me to pick my phone number. And it shows the words “verifying…” right next to my listed phone number.
tried rebooting, toggle in and off, reset network, verified my number in cloud and iPhone- I don’t know what to do.

follow all steps here If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support
