iPhones are not really prone to viruses, so the chances of you having a virus are low due to iOS built in security. But if you want to feel safe, you could start anew on your new iPhone, but I don't see any risks of making a backup, as of iPhones are safe and not prone to viruses

One time I was on google and a web page showed up saying you have A virus on your phone to remove it download the latest free security software should I be worried or was it a scam just trying to get me to download a app
