Authentication server could not be contacted (5200).

Hello, I have a new MacBook Air (Apple M2 chip, OS Ventura 13.4), not joining in the AD domain. I have tried several ways to join in the AD domain but without success. The communication works perfectly with MacBook and AD servers. Can you please help me. Error: Authentication server could not be contacted (5200).

Active Directory Authentication Server Could Not be Contacted It appears that Active Directory is broken in MacOS 13 Ventura. I have tried everything from flushing DNS cache to binding via Terminal. Nothing will allow the bind to my Active Directory Domain Controller. Directory Utility will not even allow connection to the bound AD server on another of my Macs. Note to anyone that requires authentication through AD do NOT update to Ventura. Anyone else having this problem?

Try turning WiFi off and connect ethernet or turn off private relay or any VPN service you may use. Then try the setup again. !!
