Is this Ipad possessed?

A friend wants me fix an Ipad -   2017 A1823 iPad  5th generation tablet.


The Ipad behaves like a ghost randomly touching a screen – I attached a video of

what happens. I am not an Apple expert. I rebooted, I did 'all reset' and the ghost still presses the screen. The tablet has a broken screen it can cause this behavior?

Also – my friend has another Ipad – if I reset as ‘Erase all contents and setting’ – will it affect the other Ipad which has the same Apple ID?

A physically broken screen can only be expected to malfunction. The coverglass is an active component that senses touch over its entire surface area. Any discontinuity in the surface, such as cracks or breaks, will inevitably result in unexpected or erratic performance.


The only remedy for a broken screen is replacement of the screen assembly:
