Volume seems to be much lower

I bought my Iphone 12 last year around april/may and mainly use it to play music around the house.

I’ve noticed that overtime my volume just seems to be getting worse and worse? I would have the volume on max and it would be enough to hear from another room and now it’s on max and i’m having to hold it in my hands close to my ear just to be able to hear?! what’s this and why is it happening 😐?

If you have a hearing or sound issue on your device then please try some of these processes to set it right

If you only hear through speakerphone mode --> If your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode - Apple Support

If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support

Unfortunately it’s not a problem with hearing people on calls but it’s the music volume it just seems like it’s getting lower and lower with time.

I’ve cleaned the speakers but there’s no difference

My sisters iphone plays music much louder than mine and hers is an older model 🫤
