Update notice won't go away.

On my iMac, a little notice sometimes appears when I start up in the morning. Not every day, it skips some days.

I have left the computer on all night to let this update happen, but then I still see the notice. I can't find a way to make it happen while I'm watching. This has been going on for weeks.
