The apple TV+ app on my the does not remember the playback position when paused. When I watch a program and need to pause it when i come back to re-start the program it takes me back to the beginning of the program.
All my other apps Netflix and amazon prime work as expected and resume playing where I left off it osnly the apple app that does not work

This happened to me as well, here is the fix. Sign out of the Apple TV app using the gear icon on top of the screen, then sign back in. You will need to activate it again using the QR code or signing in at the website displayed. It will now save the position of your shows again.
