I don't get reminders to start a workout, even though the setting is "on"

I expect a smart watch to send me a ping when I do a workout. The setting is on, I've checked. Like, I do an active walking, forget to turn on an "Outdoor walking" workout and Apple Watch says nothing to me. Same with my husband's watch (we both have 8), BUT our friend gets this notification on an older series. What's wrong?

In January, the watch stopped giving Reminder notifications - in fact, the Notifications setting on the watch (Settings >Notifications) no longer even lists Reminders as an option, and on my wife's iPhone, when I open the watch app to for my watch Notifications doesn't exist (although Notifications is available on the app for my wife's watch). Workout Alert Bug When creating a custom workout in the apple watch os 9; the upper level of any pace alert interval is blank and cannot be set. I think its a bug. I tryied many custom running workout and never managed to insert a custom interval pace as an alert.

Why does my Apple Watch Series 10 get notifications instead of my iPhone? my Apple Watch (series 10) keeps being the default for notifications, regardless if it’s charging or not. It’s on an Apple charger so there’s no 3rd party issue. Even if the watch is charging, my phone doesn’t vibrate or get notifications overall, just the watch. how do I fix this? Try and restart your watch and its paired iPhone to see if the issue is persisting

finally we start receiving this notification, after a 15-17 minutes walk. Probably I've overreacted :)
