I had an error on 16.4.1 keyboard was invisible in App search. Clicking in the area where the keyboard normally is would generate input to the search field, which was visible. You could catch a glympse of the keyboard as you swipe up to close the app (which you cannot do) I rebooted to solve this problem.

No Raicya that would not warrant posting about it. I had to reboot the phone to find the app I was looking for. I tried a few different things to sort it out, scrolling, tapping here and there. Only reboot resolved this issue.
