the keyboard sometimes stops appearing when in the App Library and entering the search bar from there (or scrolling upper than top).
restarting the phone fixes the issue momentarily. This issue does not appear to have any specific trigger.
restarting the phone every now and then is not really convenient.
Did you perform the forced restart and if so, did it fix the issue? A forced restart is similar to rebooting a computer. It sort of resets the system. If you are still having the problem you could try updating to iOS 15.1 which was released yesterday.
I think the next step would be to contact Apple Support and see if they can help. I would hate to see you backup, wipe the device and then restore the back up unless Apple Support suggest that.

Im not sure what you mean with ‘force’.
but I tried with restarting my iPhone, normally. As I mentioned it in the original post.
restarting fixes TEMPORARILY the issue, and it is just a workaround.
the issue comes back after few minutes/hours.
Restarting your iOS device several time a day is no longer a workaround it is an inconvenience.

unfortunately it is only working a few minutes / hours and then the problem comes back. Not possible to get the trigger (seems like there’s more than one trigger).
Have you tried force restarting your phone? Sometimes a forced restart can clear up odd behavior.

usually I power off and on, which also restarts the SIM and so on.
force restart is actually the light and fast version, isn’t it?
