Having acquired Apple Classic, I am unable to connect it to Sonos. With further research, I understand it is up to Apple to make this possible. They have done it for Apple Music so why not Classic? When are they going to get around to it?

Apple classical is essentially an overlay to Apple Music. Create your playlists in classical and they will appear in Apple Music.
You can airplay individual items in the classical app
play the song
tap the resultant “currently playing bar”
then select your AirPlay compatible streaming device
Thanks for that but incredibly long-winded. Also I don’t necessarily want a playlist but just play something as a one off
