75” Vizio tv with HomeKit airplay option not working.

All firmware is up to date. Try to connect through screen share option in settings pull down, but after attempt failed device disappears from drop down and still can not be added to HomeKit. Any suggestions?

Update tvOS to join your Home I do receive the message on top of the Settings menu on my AppleTV HD. I have tvOS 17.5.1 installed, when I do a software update it says that this is the latest version. In the AirPlay and HomeKit menu, I cannot select a room as the menu item is greyed out and shows the spinning cursor always. Tried reset by pulling the power cable. My AppleTV 4k does not have this problem.

AirPlay Display Underscan Not Working So I tried AirPlaying from my MacBook Air to my Apple TV 4K and noticed the screen was cut off. I did some digging and found out that I needed to turn on AirPlay Display Underscan. I do the whole thing and find that it’s already on. I turn it off, nothing changes. I turn it to auto, nothing changes. I turn it back to on and still, nothing changes. I don’t know what’s wrong. I don’t know if my MacBook is too out of date, or if my Apple TV is bugging, it just doesn’t want to work. My MacBook Air is a 2013 Air that runs Big Sur. That might be the issue, but if it isn’t, I got nothing. If anyone has a fix for this, please tell me. Thanks, -SKM
