re-inserting home button in iPhone 6s

we dropped our phone & it partially split open & the home button appeared to be dislodged. when I removed the 2 retaining screws & tried to pry the phone open, the home button fell out! You can see the button in my photos. My question(s)are: Does it look like the button can be re-inserted as is? And if "yes", which way, so that little black 'ribbon' on the back of the button is oriented correctly?

A drop that was strong enough to dislodge the Home button has very likely damaged other components inside the phone.

Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple Service shop.

You can find an authorized location by using this link........Find Locations

Hope I am wrong, but I would expect that the repair shop will say that the phone is not repairable.
