Macbook display with dark edges and greenish/blueish static

Macbook was fine and suddenly when opening had this weird look. Tried restarting and turns on with the dame problem. Cab still narrowly see the mouse on the top of the screen…

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple


Outside the USA

Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support



As a work a round you can plug in an external display and compare your results, external comes directly from the GPU bypassing your internal display assembly.
