Ik had *** ook! Hoe oud is uw iPhone? ik had *** dus toen ik mijn moeders iPhone 6S wilde aansluiten op mijn M1 MacBook Pro. De iPhone 6S draaide nog iOS 14 in ter tijd, en mijn MacBook toen Monterey.

I recognize this problem! How old is your iPhone, I had this when I was trying to connect my mums iPhone 6S to my M1 MacBook Pro. The iPhone was running iOS 14 in that time, because my mum forgets to update, and my laptop was running Monterey. The tips in this apple knowledge base article have helped me a lot at that time!

Troubleshooting:

Turn your iPhone On and unlock it -> enter the passcode.

Go to Settings -> set Auto-Lock to Never.

Connect your device to your computer using an Apple USB cable & try also another USB cable.

Make sure your Mac has the latest version of macOS

If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.
