Lossless AirPlay streaming - Apple Music
When I see the “lossless” logo under the song details in my iOS Apple Music App while streaming via AirPlay to my sound system, can I rely on it that it’s in fact a lossless listening experience?

Thanks. Apparently as reported in several other threads already it’s the Apple Music iOS app that’s downgrading to AAC while streaming via AirPlay.
But I think the pop up of the lossless logo in the app is no guarantee for the actual streaming experience, as it shows “lossless” when I use my AirPods Pro; which we know doesn’t support lossless because of the current Bluetooth constraints.

Airplay2 supports lossless 16-bit/44.1kHz High resolution becomes possible with an external DAC
Under some circumstances the logo is visible or not, for the same song, even if the song is downloaded to the iPhone. When skipping back and forward the logo comes on more often than not for this song. Happens with different albums/songs. Almost like there’s a condition when the AirPlay stream is lossless or not. Like wifi speed. (Wild assumptions.)
Sometimes the logo comes on after a few seconds the song is played. This is true for songs I haven’t played yet, downloaded. (Not cashed)
The cause of the change is easily explained. Airplay2 uses Wi-Fi if the signal is too weak then aac is received. If the signal is amplified enough, lossless reception will take place on each device. 1.Place the router in an optimal place. 2.Replace your router 3.Choose another WiFi channel or switch frequency band 4.Use Mesh Wi-Fi 5.Install an access point 6.Install WiFi powerline adapters 7.Do not place a WiFi repeater.
Think this is the solution.

But it takes a detour to reach the goal, the operating system is outdated, via this link

It would be nice if Apple's management changed the link below so that the above links become obsolete.

After synchronization, the iTunes will be available.
