Monterey 12.6.8 lost system folder on desk top?

installe update Monterey 12.6.8 and the system icon disepered from the desktop and is only accessible in the finder folder.

iMac 27″, macOS 12.6

What exactly do you mean by the "system icon"? Do you perhaps mean your disk icon?

If that is the case, all you have to do is go to Finder->Preferences, and check the box to show disks on the Desktop.

Normally the System Folder wouldn't be on the Desktop unless you created an Alias of it and added it.
