Turning iPad into Macbook

I use MacBooks because they have USB slots on them At least some of them I am trying to turn my iPad into a MacBook. I need to be able to download things from Safari and open them, have a usb and needs it to have Mac OS on it! Thanks

An iPad runs iPadOS. An iPad is incapable of running macOS.

Interesting idea, but if you pay attention carefully, it appears that they are moving towards the opposite: replacing MacOS with iPad OS. The latest versions of MacOS look a lot like iOS.
