Apple watch sim card
I want to buy an Apple watch on Amazon. In the description it says it does not come with a sim card. Do I need a sim card for it to operate correctly?

No, Apple Watch uses only eSIM configured as a second device on your iPhone's cellular service plan. Please see more details in Apple's support document,
