How do I Convert HEIC photo to JPEG photo

On a Mac, double click the file to open it in Preview, then choose File > Export..., and choose JPEG as the type.

Perform File Type Conversion:

Try the following. Report back the results of opening it up.

Use a Duplicate File:

There are two steps: Duplicate, then Rename.

First: Duplicate the File:

First, make a duplicate so that the original file is not lost. To do so:

1. Right-Click on the icon
2. Duplicate

Then: Rename It:

1. Right Click: the duplicate HEIC file (file name ends in "copy")
2. Select: Rename
3. Change: the extension to JPEG
4. Click: Use .JPEG button
