Non-existent "Other User" takes us 22G?

Macbook Pro 13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports: "Other users" apparently taking up over 20G of storage. Only user is "admin" and "guest user" which I'd like to delete but can't. No other user! What can I do to free up this space? (in storage, listed NOT simply as "other" but "other USER") Thanks!

That label is unfortunate choice of words, and you are not the fist to take it very literally and look for that evil "other user". The meaning is "Other, User-related files" (as opposed to Other system-related files).

The ways to identify the BIG files and decide what to do about them can be found in this article:

This could be the "Shared" folder. Go to Macintosh HD > Users and see what the "Shared" folder contains. In my case, I have plenty of "Previously Relocated Items..." subfolders for items that have been relocated (but perhaps no longer needed) when updating macOS. One of them is 11 Go, for instance.

In these subfolders you'll find the document "What Are Relocated Items?" which explains what those items are and help you decide what to do with them.

"Other" User:

Did you enable the Root user? If you enabled the Root user, then it would show up as Other in the login screen.
