Excessive space taken by Other Users & Shared on my Mac but I am the ONLY user

My MacBook Air says I have 126.16GB being used by Other User & Shared and I need to know how to clear that. There are no other user accounts, I have guest accounts disabled, I don't use iCloud and my backups are done through an external hard drive.

Can I somehow view what is being stored there so I can delete stuff and clear the space?

Hello CorvyMarie,

In Finder, go to /Users/Shared. This is where you'll probably see this amount of storage.

You'll possibly see several "Relocated Items" folders (this is what I see on my own Mac): If a Relocated Items folder appears on your Mac after upgrading macOS. See what they contain and decide whether to delete them.
