How do I restore my backup from yesterday on my phoane

Here are instructions for restoring the whole phone from a backup→Restore your iOS device from a backup - Apple Support. However, this may be overkill. It would probably be easier to go to the App Library (the last page of the Home screen) and drag the app icons back to where you want them.

If you actually deleted them from the phone you can redownload them from the App Store.
