what can I do if Ventura update is damaged and can't be installed?

attempted to download MAC Ventura update multiple times but before completing message pops up that says this copy is damaged and can't be installed but does not give any further recommendations to download. is there anything I can do to resolve?

This happens, especially when using Wi-Fi to do the download. Oftentimes Wi-Fi can be too slow for these large files and corruption occurs. You have two choices. (1) First drag the installer file to the Trash and empty it. Then do a new download via a wired Ethernet connection. Or (2) You may have to do multiple Wi-Fi downloads until you get a 'clean' one that will install properly.

Troubleshooting a macOS Upgrade:

Three things to try...

A. Disable a VPN:

Are you connected using a VPN? IF so, disable it, and try this once more.


B. Single-Out this User:

Create a new administrator user, and see if this work with it.


C. Restart your Router:

Power off your router for 30 seconds, and then poser it back on. Try this once more.
