My tab display the twitter bird icon despite twitter not being open

For some reason my safari tabs appear with the bird icon. I could open a fresh tab and search anything and the twitter birth appears. What is happening? It's really annoying and inconvenient.

Clear Safari's History: Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac - Apple Support.

You don't have to clear all history; just the past hour (for example) ought to work.

John Galt’s suggestion worked for me! I’ve had the same issue for a couple of years (years... inorite?) and got used to it. But when Twitter became X, I became more obsessed with wondering whyyyyy is there a twitter bird on every google search tab, including google maps? I typically run searches from the address bar, fwiw, but I could go straight to maps and always see that blue bird. I just cleared the last hour from my history, and now all tabs are using the appropriate google favicon. I still don’t understand it, but I’m glad for the easy solution. Attached is a screenshot of what I used to see. Thank you, John Galt!
