Touch ID not appearing in system preferences
The Touch ID panel does not appear in System Preferences. I rebooted, switched magic keyboard off and on and updated Monterey, all to no avail.
iMac 27″, macOS 11.7

Hi miguelgonzalezblock,
Does it help to completely "forget" the Magic Keyboard in the Bluetooth settings inside System Preferences, and then re-pair the keyboard with the Mac? Unfortunately I don't have an Apple silicon iMac to test with on my end.
Your signature indicates you have a 27" iMac. Only Apple silicon Macs support Touch ID.
Thanks for your reply but no, I have an M1 chip, which I understand it's Apple silicon.
Which Mac do you have?
IMac Chip Apple M1. 8GB. Thanks
