Realized I can't run boot camp on my macbook pro 13 inch

I bought my mac a while ago before my first start of college, (sometime in 2022) i'd never used a mac before and had only ever used windows. The guy said I would be able to play every single game on windows and everything no problem, I didn't know about VM's or boot camp at the time so I believed him thinking I'd just download and play like before. Awhile after I've realized that my mac doesn't support boot camp and I can't afford parallels or any other VM like that. I've searched for months but there aren't any free ones. What's possible for my situation? I'd say this is extreme but; try to exchange my mac for one that supports boot camp and transfer everything over? or is there a free VM or something out there somewhere?
