It is suggested you Log Into the Web Portal of your e-mail Provider

Check if there are Limits as to how much Storage they allow

The wording in your error message " Mailbox is full / Blocks limit exceeded " is a tip off that the e-mail provider does appear have limits .

If I may share.

My Aunt ran into a similar issue.

She Kept every e-mail and every large file attachment e-mail stored on the e-mail servers

After some time she could neither send nor receive e-mails

When I was sending her an e-mail, her server would bounce back my one line of text onl, saying could not delivery message

She eventual had to delete a ton of Old E-mails before it would work
