OSX Apps folder has Apps & Folder.

Within my Apps folder, there is the usual App, but also a folder that has title 'Contents' and within that, further folders. (Pics added for explanation).

Running M1 MBP with Ventura 13.4.1. Never seen this before, have I missed something, or have I done something unknowingly?

With thanks

Hi! Yes! That's exactly what it looks like, however, when you do that, the contents of the "Show Package Contents" folder don't remain within the Apps folder.

And I certainly would remember if I'd done that to a whole load of random apps.

As an experiment, I chose an App i could easily reinstall if needed, and deleted the folder (not the App). I launched the App, and it worked as intended. So I've done that with all the rogue Apps, and they ALL work as they should!

As you say, it wasn't disruptive to the system ops, but it was disruptive to my Mac user's brain, and al is now well in my OSX world!!!
