I had the phone few years and its a iphone 7 plus. The adapter is too big for the charger but it still works to charge but can be difficuly sometimes. It goes in all the way but i dont seem to understand whats the problem.

Since we're not sure what adapter you are using with the cable, we're going to share with you the article that lets you know which adapters can be used with the different iPhones. It shouldn't be difficult getting the USB or USB-C cable to fit into the adapter, it should be an easy but snug fit.
