There are a few postings about this elsewhere in these forums; however, no one seems to have a definitive answer.

These are the most common suggestions:

  • Check for updates to Safari
  • Reboot
  • Disable or remove any extensions in Safari

And, from a 2021 question, here's a detailed list of suggestions that's marked 'Apple Recommended'.

You could try and use Safe mode to troubleshoot your Mac.

That in itself may cure the cause of the issue, in Safe mode.

Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

The crash report may or not indicate another hardware problem.

There may be an issue with logic board or other internal items.

To help troubleshoot an issue, a restart can be a place to begin.

Details in the above article should let you see IF and when your

Mac has started into Safe mode. ..Sometimes that's not clear.
