Any tips on the best replacement battery for an iPod Classic 160GB?
Simple as that! Lots of them on the market. Some clearly of questionable quality. iPod of many years finally gave up the ghost on charging. Would like to keep it going... :-)
It could be that there is not so much support for iPods nowadays, a good battery for an iPod would be one of these batteries to mod the iPod, for example 3000mh batteries to last more than 40 hours the iPod, I mounted one of these batteries to my ipod. These are easily found on eBay. It is important if you mount a higher capacity battery to buy a larger 8mm back. This is when using a memory iFlash, as the hard drive takes up more space inside the iPod. There are tutorials on youtube on how to modify an ipod, it takes patience and a small investment, good luck.
