safari grouped bookmarks missing in 16.5.1 and mojave

i don't see any of my safari bookmarks in the grouped folders on my iphone 14 (16.5.1). i set up in mojave on my laptop and i thought they were all ready to use.

i HAVE navigated through ALL of them on the laptop before..

i see the folder names but i don't see any of the actual bookmarks so i can use it.

an i missing something?

i have not checked on mojave on the laptop again yet but i assume they are there.

shouldn't i see individual bookmarks i can select?(!)

if i hit "Done" it just shows me the prior page i was on.

If you find that you're all set up by they are not syncing correctly, use the following steps to troubleshoot: If your iCloud or Safari bookmarks aren’t syncing - Apple Support You'll want to have your Mac nearby, if possible, so you can test and compare the bookmarks between those devices.

hi. i should have been more specific and indicated that i can see my bookmarks in the FAVORITES section and i can see my bookmark folders in the FAVORITES section it is just the TAB GROUPED bookmarks show the folder but no BOOKMARKS in the folder.

like in the image at the beginning i am tapping on TAB GROUPED bookmarks section (which i just spent a lot of time setting up on the laptop) and i am trying to see the BOOKMARKS in this section.

i can already see the bookmarks in my FAVORITES since this implementation is still working.

but the new implementation of TAB GROUPED favorites as you can see from the screenshots does not show any bookmarks in any of the sections even though i can see them on my LAPTOP.
