Safari bookmark search doesn't find folder names

I'm trying to rely more on saving Safari web pages as bookmarks rather than keeping too many tabs open. But I think I've discovered something that makes that a bit harder than it should be: when you have bookmarks open in the left pane, and you enter text in the search bar to search your bookmarks, it won't return any folders that contain that text. It only returns bookmarks that match the text, but not folders. Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks for confirming that it doesn't return folders that match your search string. I'll have to make sure I name my bookmarks carefully.

I hadn't noticed that you can also search bookmarks under the Help menu, so thanks for that, and I see it does also show bookmark folders that match your search string, as well as the bookmarks in that folder, which is a nice feature. (A little surprising that in the search results, it displays the folders with the same icon as the bookmarks.)

Pretty cool that when you hover your mouse pointer over one of the search results, Safari displays a blue bar pointing to the bookmark.

It seems that's the case. You can only search for bookmarks, not folders. However, you could try searching in the "Help" section, which should at least show both the folders and the bookmarks within them.
