Sound Check Not Effective
Basically it doesn't seem to work. I select Sound Check and the volume of songs is still all over the place. This is music from Apple Music. Not in my local library. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Mac mini, macOS 10.15

Hi mattalex,
Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.
To address this behavior with Sound Check not working on your Mac, make sure that you're running the latest available software for your Mac model and you have restarted to ensure all performance updates have been installed.
If this continues, Quit the Music app, restart, and relaunch the app.
You can enter safe mode where a health check is run on the disk while also limiting the start up items allowed to run. Once in safe mode, enable the feature again.

Regards.
Sound check alters the higher tones within recordings and I don’t know why you would want to use it. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t work properly in the first place.
