You do not need to download and install Java Script. It is built into almost all internet browsers like Safari, etc.

From Wikipedia:

JavaScript (/ˈdʒɑːvəskrɪpt/), often abbreviated as JS, is a programming language that is one of the core technologies of the World Wide Web, alongside HTML and CSS. As of 2023, 98.7% of websites use JavaScript on the client side for webpage behavior,[10] often incorporating third-party libraries.

All major web browsers have a dedicated JavaScript engine to execute the code on users' devices.

JavaScript (often abbreviated as JS) is a high-level, versatile, and widely-used programming language primarily used for adding interactivity and dynamic elements to websites. It is one of the core technologies of the World Wide Web, allowing developers to create interactive user experiences and perform various tasks on web pages.

Key features of JavaScript include:

  1. Client-side scripting: JavaScript code is executed on the user's web browser, which means it can manipulate the Document Object Model (DOM) of a web page, enabling dynamic content updates without requiring a page reload.
  2. Object-oriented: JavaScript supports object-oriented programming, which means developers can define and create objects with properties and methods for code organization and reusability
