adding a second address book

I would like to add a second address book to my MacBook Pro (Ventura 13.4.1). I need to communicate by text for work with dozens of people I'd rather not have in my personal address book. I'd like to do this on my Mac because most people have iPhones and I can text from Messages on my computer and be able to type much faster.

I looked online and see a lot of information about how to use different lists in the address book -- but I don't want all the work contacts in my personal address book.

In post here from 2008 I see a second address book was not an option -- but I didn't see if that has changed, or not.
