When I get some new notifications there is no clear button to close them at once. I have to sweep all of them one by one or leave the phone until notifications get stale and that clear all button shows up. It's the year 2023, and iPhone misses this simple feature. I remember that it wasn't like this on old IOS versions

Scroll Up after you see the current Notification you will See Notification Center. You will see "X" to the left. It will clear all the notifications.
If you are expecting X for all the current notifications that would be a disaster in 2023. I would like to retain the current notifications until I see them. Removing them should not be as simple as tapping an X.
I completely agree with you on the last sentence. An X with a delete confirmation would be safe and user-friendly. So, there could be different 'X's for current and old notifications
