Keeping Apple Watch streak while travelling internationally

I'm seeking advice from other people who have/want to maintain their activity streaks while crossing the international date line. How do we do it?

I'm from Australia and will be travelling internationally in a month. I am currently at 1200+ days of my activity streak and don't want to lose it whilst away.

You could try setting the time zone, date and time modes on your iPhone so they are Manual.

Settings > General > Date & Time

Your Apple Watch will follow automatically. You can then control how and when the day changes for Activity recording and pick your opportunity to set it back to Auto when you are stable across the date line. Sorry, this has to be best guess and No guarantees it will work, I am exactly on the opposite side (England) so I can't test the theory!
