set random screen time passcode

I want to add a few things to my restrictions, like a time limit on apps I’ve found that also take up most of my day. So I was wondering if I could change my passcode, enter all the new stuff and then set another random passcode so I won’t know it, and therefore not be able to just put in a passcode I’ll know so that I can’t turn off the restrictions. I’ve had a friend set a code they know, but I’m out of town and don’t really have many people that could do the same.

There are a couple of apps I’m wasting way too much time on and I set up screen time to limit me to 15 minutes a day on those apps. I set up a passcode. When I hit that time it asked me if I want another 15 minutes or if I would like to allow myself to use the app for the rest of the day. That’s fine. I tap “allow me another 15 minutes”. But then it doesn’t ask for my passcode. I know this seems trivial but it matters to me because I want to have that extra friction before I can go on. It will remind me not to go on. But it’s not working. I have checked, and the passcode is enabled. I tried disabling it and then resetting it. It didn’t help. It still isn’t working. When I use one of those apps and I get to my 15 minute limit it asks if I want another 15 minutes, and I said yes, and it does not ask for my passcode. How do I make it ask for my passcode?

Passcode for limiting screen time Can’t figure out the passcode for limiting screen time my kids made one and no one knows what it is. Do I need to completely delete my account from the phone ?!?

Content restriction passcode change How do I change the content restrictions passcode on iPhone? it is no longer found in general settings, and under screen time it just asks for the passcode, no option to change. My child has figured out the passcode.
