Screen time not asking for pass code

Screen Time is not enforcing limits and does not ask for my password.

There are a couple of apps I’m wasting way too much time on and I set up screen time to limit me to 15 minutes a day on those apps. I set up a passcode. When I hit that time it asked me if I want another 15 minutes or if I would like to allow myself to use the app for the rest of the day. That’s fine. I tap “allow me another 15 minutes”. But then it doesn’t ask for my passcode.

I know this seems trivial but it matters to me because I want to have that extra friction before I can go on. It will remind me not to go on. But it’s not working.

I have checked, and the passcode is enabled. I tried disabling it and then resetting it. It didn’t help. It still isn’t working. When I use one of those apps and I get to my 15 minute limit it asks if I want another 15 minutes, and I said yes, and it does not ask for my passcode.

How do I make it ask for my passcode?
