I am trying to set up an iPad and I have a Gmail account, but do not have the option of choosing a Gmail. What do I do?

When adding an email account to your iPad, many of the main email providers will be listed for semi-automatic setup:

Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If you don’t see your the Mail Provider explicitly listed, choose Other - and proceed, following the prompts.

If you mean you’re trying to set up a gmail email account on your iPad, then:

Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account …

You should have a Google option when adding a new email account.

Are you saying there is no Google option in the Add account screen?
