Broken IC Charger Chip

The IC Charger Chip of my iPad Pro 2020 broke. I live in a country where there are no other IC ships designed for my iPad. The shop I went to has told me that the IC Charger of a macbook M1 would be a good replacement and would work fine. Please help. Should I replace my iPad pro 2020 broken IC Charger chip with the macbook m1 IC charger chip?

Apple doesn’t offer component level repairs for iPad - and doesn’t supply components (or offer any guidance) for component level repairs.

You would be best advised to seek assistance directly from an official Apple Store in your country. If your country does not have an official Apple distributor, offering device repair, I’m sorry to say that you are very much on your own.

Perhaps seek advice directly from Apple Support. While no advice will be available for repair outside of Apple’s official network of Apple Authorised Service Providers (AASPs), they may be able to direct you to available facilities in your country.

You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page. Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
